With this film, called Anthem, global pharmaceutical company Sanofi wanted to show the human side of its brand. The company’s ethos is one of realism, acknowledging that the ebb and flow of product creation is one of continuous improvement. Just like any organisation Sanofi aren’t perfect but are brave enough to admit that, as they keep moving forward, pushing boundaries and rewriting the rules.
I decided to tell that story via real company employees; their amazing personalities and fascinating lives. We took the action away from the labs and offices into their homes, sports fields and happy places to focus truly on the people that make Sanofi tick. It was a collaborative effort between my team and the Sanofi HR dept and the resulting film is one of powerful authenticity where the stars break the fourth wall to connect directly with the viewer.
