In summer 2016 Cheil Korea and Samsung asked me to direct ten 20 second films. Each film focuses on one unique feature of the phone. We wanted this to be a people story, to be very focused on the consumer and decided to intercut the use of the telephone with real emotion expressed by the user. The campaign was a huge success and we eventually created a 50 second director’s cut combining all 10 features.
